What a beautifully written and meaningful tribute to an incredible woman of strength and just purpose.
I never met your grandma, Eason, but am grateful for knowing you, David and Perry during that brief time back in the early 80's, when I was at KKB. I even went for a dip in that pool, I believe. Black Fox Rd was it?
I am truly sorry for your loss.

I wouldn't let him on NewsWatch because, at the last minute,
he decided he wouldn't answer questons in English.
I said "to hell with him" and ran a few extra packages.
The jerk had been on CNN a oouple of times already...speaking good English...
but his "peeps" said he didn't feel like doing it that day. So I said pass the word
t him I didn't feel like having him on he newscast.

Glad to see you're blogging! Though I think limiting us to "civil" exchanges is a bit much in this day & age... *grin*

I think too you should sponsor a "captioning" contest for all these pictures you post; it'll be an easy way to project humility and will soothe those who're jealous of your infamy... like me for example!

So, for the picture with Bono and Ted, I'm thinkin' that Bono is sayin' to himself "Get your hand off my arse Eason," while Ted seems to be thinking "Ohhh, I kind of like that!" (and so much for "civility" I suppose!)

Kidding aside, I think you'll have a lot to offer the blogsphere, and look forward to your bits!
